I’m a sixth-year Ph.D. student in Stanford’s history department. Beyond the department, I work at Stanford’s Center for Spatial and Textual Analysis (CESTA), where I am the Spatial History Project’s lead researcher for Geography of the Post. I am currently the Thomas D. Dee II fellow at the Bill Lane Center for the American West and am affiliated with the Stanford Literary Lab.
Outside of Stanford, I was part of a joint project with the University of North Texas, served on the organizing committee for THATCamp Bay Area 2010, was a collaborator on the Documenting Venture Smith project. I am a former graduate coordinator for two workshops at Stanford: the U.S. History Workshop and the Visualizing Complexity and Uncertainty Workshop.
